Hello friends, welcome How's August been treating you? It snuck up on us didn't it ! Around here with lockdown continuing sun, sky, fresh air and sheer grace are doing the lions share of keeping me steady. Anything lovely planned for the weekend? Its been another lockdown Friday here and there wearing thin but the sun was shining hard so with  being off work and having nowhere to be (and the thrift stores closed !) I spent a good part of the day just sitting on my front verandah enjoying it. Possibly more of the same over the weekend with a bit of DIYing thrown in and maybe an outdoor fire because its just that kind of weather. It was gorgeously sunny here today but cold as well so with a day off work that was my cue to light the back yard fire pit. The dogs enjoyed the company and I enjoyed burning all the dead branches that had been piled up in the corner of my yard since summer. I think I feel most myself in the vicinity of a garden and a good fire.

Anyone else feel like Friday arrived awfully fast. Have no idea what I've done this week apart from go to work and walk back to my car to get a mask every time I was halfway anywhere - good times Anyhoo the weekend is here and I hope some resting, relaxing and enjoying things you love is on the menu.
