Happy Friday friends and happy thanksgiving to my American friends Looking forward to anything lovely this weekend? These parts its still pouring down rain and has been most of the week. The ceiling in Ethan's room has sprung a leak and the washing machines blown up so good times here. I've been washing clothes in the bathroom sink and wringing them dry by hand pioneer woman like which has been very grounding  in a weird sort of way. (This hot on the heels of the dishwasher packing it in last week). Man does it ever make you appreciate those modern conveniences.  Anyhoo this weekend I'm looking forward to buying a new washing machine. Wish me well !! As always because it's one of my favourite things to do, I've rounded up a few good words and reads to keep you company as you end your week and head into your weekend. Happy Friday friends.
I hope the weeks been kind to you?
Anything lovely planned this weekend?
My best friend is meeting her first grand baby for the very first time this weekend and I'm so happy for her. Same for another friend who's recently moved into what she describes as her first real home. I can see pictures being hung and homey things being set about and her relief and joy I can feel from here. If the weather allows, my sister will be up to her elbows in potting mix and succulents and with discussions this week about a multi layered fairy garden I'm eager to see how it turns out.
Now because it's one of my favourite things to do, I've rounded up a few good words and reads to keep you company as you end your week and head into your weekend.

Friday friends and no I'm not sure where the week went either but I'm so glad your here. Anything lovely planned for the weekend? Hello friends. Well the weeks are just flying on by aren't they. What's keeping you steady at the moment? What's making a difference?  For me I talk to my sister every night on the phone, I play with the dogs at least once a day, I keep a daily gratitude list and I drink hot chocolate from the 7/11 whenever I'm forced to get petrol.
